For this purpose, the VEB Lokomotivbau "Karl Marx" in Potsdam-Babelsberg developed the first diesel-hydraulic locomotive of the NDR V180 with 2 engines, 19.46 metres long.
After its introduction at the Leipzig trade fair in 1960, 385 machines were built in several series between 1962 and 1970, with the power increased from the original 2x662 kW to 2x883 kW.
Initially, the four-axle locomotives were too heavy for many routes, so in 1964 a six-axle variant V180.2 was developed.
Many of these "Dicken Babelsbergerinnen", which run at 120 km/h and are equipped with steam heating, are still in use in private rail transport or have found a home in several railway museums.

Men’s pullover hoodie with a kangaroo pocket. It is pleasant to the touch and will always make you comfortable and warm thanks to its composition and smooth knit. An elastic neckline makes the hoodie easy to put on and also maintains shape. The sleeves and the bottom edge of the hoodie are lined with rib knit. This hoodie must not be missing in the closet of any true train enthusiast.
Material: 65% polyester +35% cotton or 50% polyester +50% cotton.
